Featured Case: Morin v. Tormey, 626 F.3d 40 (2d Cir. 2010)
In this case, a court clerk was asked by a judge to spy on another judge who was a member of a rival political party. Refusing to do so, the clerk was moved to a dank basement area that leaked water, transferred to a work site far from her home and eventually demoted.
Attorney William Frumkin successfully argued on behalf of the clerk, who was protected under federal whistleblower laws and achieved a significant monetary settlement for her.
